The German AI Centers: Uniting Leading Expertise in AI
The Network of German Centers of Excellence for AI Research pools together the expertise of the six German AI centers: the Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data (BIFOLD), the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML), the Center for Scalable Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig) and the Tübingen AI Center.
The Network of German AI Centers is hereby at the forefront of Germany government’s AI Action Plan whereby Germany is positioned as an international leader in AI research, development and adoption with tangible economic and social benefit. Coordination of the network rotates annually among the centers to ensure innovative impulses and multi-facetted collaborations.
