Zoé Sánchez

Zoé Sánchez is a science communication consultant at the Lamarr Institute and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.

Her work focuses on online communication about research activities and scientific results. She has been responsible for managing the blog on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence since May 2022 and assists in the planning and execution of communication and PR activities of the Lamarr Institute. Zoé Sánchez is a member of the Lamarr Institute’s social media team and, together with her colleagues, develops content, formats, and materials for social media communication tailored to the target group. She has been a member of the press and public relations team at Fraunhofer IAIS since 2021 and a science communication consultant at the institute for Informatics at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn since 2022.

While studying Romance languages and literature at the University of Osnabrück, Zoé Sánchez worked in public institutions and as a freelancer for project sponsors, such as the Instituto Cervantes in Berlin, in the areas of project management, communication and marketing. During her professional career, she has coordinated intercultural exchange and research projects for international organizations and universities in Germany, Spain and Costa Rica. Since graduating, she has worked as a member of the Press and Public Relations team at Fraunhofer IAIS, where she focuses on online communication. She has experience with communicating scientific content via social media and project management.
