Jérôme Rutinowski is the Deputy Head of Research & Operations at the Chair of Material Handling and Warehousing (FLW), TU Dortmund University. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from TU Dortmund University in 2024. He co-manages the FLW research group, coordinates research activities, proposals and international collaborations. In his hybrid role between Fraunhofer IML and TU Dortmund, he supports and advises Prof. Alice Kirchheim (Area Chair Planning & Logistics). In 2026, he spent a semester at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA as the Rooney International Visiting Scholar (Gastprofessur).
