Lamarr Institute Engages in Paris Conference on AI, Society and Governance

From 18 to 20 November 2025, the Université Paris Dauphine (PSL) will host the fourth edition of the Dauphine Digital Days which is a three-day conference bringing together academics, industry leaders and policy-makers to reflect on how artificial intelligence is reshaping society under the theme “AI & Society: the Acceleration?”

Why this event is important

This edition emphasises the rapid acceleration of AI’s societal impact, exploring impacts on media, healthcare, finance, law and human-machine interaction. It creates a forum for interdisciplinary debate where technical foundations are combined with human-centred and governance perspectives.

Prof. Dr. Jakob Rehof

Notably, Prof. Dr. Jakob Rehof is scheduled to participate in the conference session organised by the Governance & Regulation Chair on “European data spaces: towards sovereign and sectoral AI. On November 18, he will be part of two sessions, ‘Industrial Data and Vertical AI’ and ‘The challenges of sovereign AI’.
