BARsession

BARsession is a quarterly live event organized by Wirtschaftsförderung Dortmund to discuss future entrepreneurial topics. Dortmund businesses, self-employed individuals, startups, and interested parties gather to network and stay informed. The first edition of 2024, titled “Learning what we don’t understand – AI and its applications in logistics”, takes place on February 27th at 6 pm in Dortmund’s jazz club “domicil.”

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Michael ten Hompel, director of the Lamarr Institute and Fraunhofer IML, will be the main speaker, discussing how AI is integrated into logistics and its daily management role. Alongside ten Hompel, six session partners will join BARsession, including the Lamarr Institute, KI.NRW, IHK zu Dortmund, European Digital Innovation Hub Dortmund (EDIH-DO), Centrum für Entrepreneurship & Transfer with CONQUER – Marketing & Sales Consulting GmbH, and Projekt, along with the initiative to:DO.
