Thomas Kesselheim is a professor of theoretical computer science at University of Bonn and a member of the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (centre of excellence) at University of Bonn. Before, he was junior professor in the Department of Computer Science at TU Dortmund University followed by a postdoc position at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics in Saarbrücken. Before that, he was postdoc at the Department of Computer Science of Cornell University. Thomas Kesselheim graduated from RWTH Aachen University in 2012. His research focuses on optimization under uncertainties, which require decisions being made although only incomplete information is available. This concerns questions related to online (learning) algorithms and algorithmic game theory.
