Adrian Holt is co-founder, managing director and CTO of FloodWaive Predictive Intelligence GmbH in Aachen. He studied computer science at RWTH Aachen University, specialising in data science and machine learning. From 2021 to 2023, he worked at the university’s Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management on AI-based early warning systems for flooding caused by heavy rainfall. At FloodWaive, he leads the technical development of DeepWaive, an AI model that learns from hydrodynamic simulations and delivers fast flood forecasts and risk analyses for operational use.
