He specializes in privacy-preserving federated learning, which allows decentralized data processing while ensuring data security. Additionally, he explores the theoretical foundations of deep learning to provide strong guarantees for model performance and reliability. Another key focus is explainable models – an area critical for building trust between AI systems and practitioners who rely on them in high-stakes environments.
