Open Innovation – AI Symposium

The “Open Innovation – AI Symposium” is being organized by Meta and its Research Center FAIR on June 26th at Futurium in Berlin. It will bring together experts from academia, industry, politics, and civil society to discuss and explore the development and responsible deployment of open-source AI. The event will feature discussions, networking opportunities, and a practical workshop on AI red-teaming to test and improve AI models for vulnerabilities.

Mehdi Ali, Innovation Group Leader on Foundation Model Research at Fraunhofer IAIS and at the Lamarr Institute, will be one of the moderators at the AI Ecosystem Panel. The panel (in German) will provide a 360° view on the value of open-source AI in the context of international competitiveness and innovation power.
