Lamarr Lecture Series at the University of Bonn and TU Dortmund
Throughout the winter semster 2025/26, Lamarr conducts a lecture series in cooperation with the University of Bonn and TU Dortmund titled “Data, Knowledge, and Context in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence”.
What to Expect?
This lecture series gives interesting insights into the research fields at the Lamarr Institute. Experts from various reserach areas will talk about the latest developments in Artifical Intelligence and Machine Learning. All lectures will be held in English.
This series is mainly addressed to students of Computer Science, however, students from all departments are welcome to join.
Why it Matters
This lecture series will highlight how AI research today is practical, involves many fields, and matters for society in general. Participants will also gain insights into how cooperations between universities work. Additionally, it will offer the aforementioned valuable insights into Lamarr’s work.
November 28: Natural Language Processing (NLP)
This lecture offers further information on last week’s introductory lecture on Natural Language Processing (NLP). This week’s speaker will be Dr.-Ing. Oliver Urbann.
