Workshop at ICSE 2025: Responsible AI Engineering

From April 27 to May 3, 2025, Dr. Maximilian Poretschkin, Head of the Innovation Group on Trustworthy AI at the Lamarr Institute, will co-organize the 3rd International Workshop on Responsible AI Engineering at the 47th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE) in Ottawa, Canada. This workshop aims to advance responsible AI practices, with a focus on ensuring the safety, trustworthiness, and ethics of complex AI systems, such as large language models (LLMs) and autonomous agents.

Key topics will include the development of new engineering approaches that go beyond traditional software methods, emphasizing AI safety, trustworthiness, and ethics throughout the system’s lifecycle. Participants will also explore evolving techniques like DevOps and AgentOps to enhance AI trustworthiness.
