Jian-Jia Chen joined TU Dortmund University in 2014. From 2010 to 2014, he was a W1 tenure track junior professor at the Department of Informatics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In 2006, he received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. He received his B.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry at National Taiwan University 2001. He was awarded with the ERC (European Research Council) Consolidator Award in 2019. Jian-Jia Chen served as TPC member in several international conferences in real-time and embedded systems such as RTSS, RTAS, RTCSA, DATE, ICCAD, etc.), and as associate editor and guest editor in international journals.
