Thore Gerlach

Thore Gerlach completed his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at the University of Bonn, where he also obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning. He is a research associate at the Lamarr site of Fraunhofer IAIS. In the Quantum Machine Intelligence team, he researches quantum algorithms that make it possible to accelerate/improve classical machine learning methods. Areas of application for such quantum algorithms include industrial projects in the aerospace industry.
