We are in: Informatiktag NRW 2024
Numerous workshops on educationally relevant topics in computer science will provide a diverse program for computer science teachers at all levels of general and vocational schools, as well as trainees and students. The program includes workshops not only for middle school but also those focusing on teaching computer science content in elementary education.
Among them is the workshop by Barbara Messing, in collaboration with the Lamarr Institute, titled “AI that Speaks: We Need to Talk” (KI, die spricht: Wir müssen reden). The workshop is aimed at teachers and offers a platform for exchanging experiences regarding speech-processing systems with Artificial Intelligence.
In addition, exhibitors related to school computer science and technical-administrative products will complement the offerings of the 20th Computer Science Day (Informatiktag) NRW at the TU Dortmund University.
Simultaneously, particularly active schools in the Federal Computer Science Competition (BWINF) and the Computer Science Beaver will be honored. Beyond the official program, there will be many opportunities for participants to exchange experiences with each other.
