Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf der industriellen Bildverarbeitung. Dort besch\u00e4ftigt er sich mit Fragestellungen f\u00fcr Anwendungen in der industriellen Qualit\u00e4tssicherung und der mobilen Robotik.
