Nach ihrer Promotion an der University of Copenhagen im Jahr 2014 war sie Postdoktorandin in der Arbeitsgruppe von Yoshua Bengio am Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms (heute MILA \u2013 Quebec AI Institute), Akademische R\u00e4tin an der Universit\u00e4t Bonn sowie anschlie\u00dfend Assistant Professor an der Ruhr-Universit\u00e4t Bochum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ihr Forschungsgebiet ist Deep Learning mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Deep-Learning-Theorie, generativen Modellen sowie der Schnittstelle von Machine Learning und Sicherheit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit 2019 ist sie Scholar des European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) im Programm \u201eTheory, Algorithms, and Computations of Modern Learning Machines\u201c. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist sie Associated PI im Bereich <a href=\"https:\/\/lamarr-institute.org\/de\/forschung\/vertrauenswuerdige-ki\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"266\">vertrauensw\u00fcrdige KI<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/lamarr-institute.org\/de\/lamarr-fellowship\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"24512\">Lamarr Fellow<\/a> am Lamarr Institute for Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Au\u00dferdem ist sie Principal Investigator im Exzellenzcluster CASA sowie im DFG-Transregio \u201eSpatio-temporal Statistics for the Transition of Energy and Transport\u201c.
