Kooperationspartner auf nationaler Ebene sind das Leibniz-Zentrum f\u00fcr Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF), das Institut f\u00fcr Zuckerr\u00fcbenforschung sowie das Fraunhofer IAIS. Das Projekt ist am 1. Januar 2019 gestartet und hat eine Laufzeit bis Ende 2025. Eine F\u00f6rderung von weiteren sieben Jahren ist m\u00f6glich. Die Exzellenzcluster sind Teil der Exzellenzstrategie des Bundes und der L\u00e4nder.
