Sie promovierte 2013 an der Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover und erhielt ihren M.Sc. 2006 schloss sie ihr Studium der Informationstechnik an der Universit\u00e4t Osnabr\u00fcck in einem gemeinsamen Programm mit der Universit\u00e4t Twente ab. Zuvor arbeitete sie als Forschungsgruppenleiterin am L3S Research Center der Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover und als Senior Research Fellow an der University of Southampton, UK.
