Zuvor war er Juniorprofessor am Fachbereich Informatik der TU Dortmund und arbeitete anschlie\u00dfend als Postdoc am Max-Planck-Institut f\u00fcr Informatik in Saarbr\u00fccken. Davor war er Postdoc am Institut f\u00fcr Informatik der Cornell University. Thomas Kesselheim schloss sein Studium an der RWTH Aachen im Jahr 2012 ab. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt ist die Optimierung unter Unsicherheit, bei der Entscheidungen getroffen werden m\u00fcssen, obwohl nur unvollst\u00e4ndige Informationen zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen.
