Das \u00fcbergeordnete Ziel ist es, ML-L\u00f6sungen zu entwickeln, die effizient, robust, erkl\u00e4rbar und vertrauensw\u00fcrdig sind. Diese Repr\u00e4sentationen sind transformierte Darstellungen der Daten, die diese besser interpretierbar oder f\u00fcr die nachgelagerte Modellierung und Vorhersage besser nutzbar machen. Das Schl\u00fcsselwort ist hier &#8222;strukturiert&#8220;. Einerseits wird beim hybriden Maschinellen Lernen die Struktur in die Datendarstellung integriert, indem induktive Vorannahmen aus der Mathematik, den Naturwissenschaften, den Sozial- oder Wirtschaftswissenschaften genutzt werden. Andererseits nutzt das hybride Maschinelle Lernen solche Strukturen, um Probleme in diesen Bereichen besser zu l\u00f6sen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere Forschung im Bereich des hybriden Maschinellen Lernens geht in der Tat in drei gro\u00dfe Richtungen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mathematische Konzepte und Repr\u00e4sentationslernen<\/strong><br>Studium und Anwendung von Konzepten aus der diskreten Mathematik, der Geometrie, der Gruppentheorie und der Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie, um Algorithmen f\u00fcr das Repr\u00e4sentationslernen zu entwickeln und zu analysieren. Dabei konzentrieren wir uns auf Algorithmen, die die zugrundeliegende Struktur von relationalen Daten sowie von Bild- und Videodaten verarbeiten und nutzen.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>\u00dcberwindung von Black-Box Deep Learning durch Wissen<\/strong><br>Entwicklung neuronaler Modelle f\u00fcr empirische Daten, die \u00fcber das Black-Box Deep Learning hinausgehen, da sie mit mathematischem Wissen oder Theorien aus den Natur- oder Sozialwissenschaften \u00fcbereinstimmen. Beispiele hierf\u00fcr sind unsere Modelle f\u00fcr das logische Denken in nat\u00fcrlicher Sprache, die Repr\u00e4sentationen ableiten, die auf klassischen Theorien der Semantik beruhen, oder unsere neuronalen stochastischen Prozessmodelle, die Repr\u00e4sentationen von Zeitreihendaten so einschr\u00e4nken, dass sie physikalisch inspirierte Differenz- oder Differentialgleichungen erf\u00fcllen.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automatische wissenschaftliche Entdeckungen<\/strong><br>Entwicklung von Methoden f\u00fcr automatische wissenschaftliche Entdeckung durch Inferenz aus neuronalen Darstellungen von (sorgf\u00e4ltig kuratierten) algebraischen Gleichungen. Diese Repr\u00e4sentationen sind so konzipiert, dass sie von neuronalen Denkern (k\u00fcnstlichen Wissenschaftlern) verarbeitet werden k\u00f6nnen, die durch Verst\u00e4rkungslernen trainiert werden, um automatisch neue wissenschaftliche Theorien aus Daten zu konstruieren.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere Forschung f\u00fcgt sich somit in das Paradigma \u201etriangular AI\u201c des Lamarr-Instituts ein, da sie Daten (empirische Beobachtungen), strukturiertes Wissen (wissenschaftliche Theorien oder mathematische Modelle) und Kontext (Belohnungssignale von Verst\u00e4rkungsalgorithmen) kombiniert,
