Steuerung. So wie menschliches Lernen auf Erkundung und Interaktion mit der Umwelt beruht, m\u00fcssen verk\u00f6rperte Agenten ihr Verhalten durch Erfahrung verbessern. Der revolution\u00e4re Durchbruch des Deep Learning gelang folglich in Anwendungsbereichen, in denen Daten leicht verf\u00fcgbar sind oder leicht generiert werden k\u00f6nnen. Dies ist folgerichtig in Cyber-Bereichen wie dem Internet, das selbst eine Quelle enormer Datenmengen ist. Betrachtet man Europa und insbesondere Deutschland, so basiert der Erfolg unserer Gesellschaft stark auf Technik und Robotik und konzentriert sich in hohem Ma\u00dfe auf Fertigung und Logistik. daher einen Paradigmenwechsel hin zu Embodied AI. In der realen Welt sollte Intelligenz nicht isoliert existieren, sondern sich durch eine vielf\u00e4ltige, multimodale Interaktion mit der Umwelt manifestieren. Ein intelligenter Agent kann also nicht nur als eine Cyberkomponente betrachtet werden, sondern als ein Agent, der die Maschine verk\u00f6rpert. Auf diese Weise kann die Wahrnehmung und Planung komplexer Agenten-Umwelt-Interaktionen aus begrenzter Erfahrung gelernt werden. Mit Hilfe von Simulationen wird eine digitale Realit\u00e4t erzeugt, die es dem Agenten erm\u00f6glicht, zu lernen, umzulernen und zu validieren. Dementsprechend ist Embodied AI nicht nur von theoretischem Interesse, sondern auch f\u00fcr viele reale Anwendungen von Bedeutung.
